NASHVILLE, Tenn. - As Americans commemorate Veterans Day this week, country singer-songwriter and Army veteran Luke Pell together with his friend and other fan favorite from ABC's hit television series The BacheloretteWells Adams, donated $25,000 from their Family Feud winnings to the CreatiVets organization.
This past May, Pell competed on ABC's Celebrity Family Feud, a special celebrity version of the iconic game show Family Feud (hosted by Emmy Award-winning game show host Steve Harvey) for the opportunity to win up to $25,000 to donate to charity. The Chicago-based, non-profit organization pairs veterans with accomplished songwriters to offer relief and healing to those service members who are affected from PTSD and other injuries from their service. The organization's purpose is to use various forms of art, including: songwriting, visual arts, and creative writing to help disabled veterans transform their stories of trauma into an art form that can inspire and motivate continued healing.
