NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Celebrating 43 years of great barbecue, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™ announces the live performance line-up for the World's Champion Bar-B-Que Contest, sponsored by Comcast business, to help kick-off the world's largest livestock show and rodeo. Taking place February 25-27, attendees will get a taste of authentic Country Music, with performances by Old DominionBart CrowPat GreenCameran Nelson, Rich O'Toole and more. 

 

Net proceeds benefit the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo™. With each ticket purchased, visitors are treated to a complimentary chopped beef sandwich plate. Guests will get the opportunity to enjoy their complimentary meal on the porch-style area at The Chuck Wagon. This year be sure and stop by the Rockin’ Bar-B-Que Saloon. There are no tent passes required to enjoy either of these venues. An NRG Park Season Pass is $25 and is valid through the run of the contest and the duration of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (March 1 – March 20, 2016). 250 teams comprising over 400 entries compete for best overall barbecue. Judging will be held Saturday, Feb. 27. The awards presentation will begin at The Garden at 6 p.m. with the results being announced at 7 p.m.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -  In light of the holiday season, Tin Roof Revival will host Love Your Melon Night at Tin Roof in Nashville, Tennessee on Tuesday, December 15 at 7:00PM. Ten percent of proceeds will benefit Love Your Melon partners, CureSearch and Pinky Swear Foundation. Love Your Melon hats will also be for sale to support the cause. HOUSTON LIVESTOCK SHOW AND RODEO™ INTERNATIONAL WINE COMPETITION SETS THE STAGE FOR 2016 RODEO UNCORKED! EVENTS

Champion wines were awarded from thousands of wines at the 2016 Rodeo Uncorked!® International Wine Competition, held Nov. 14 – 15, 2015, at NRG Center.

The 2016 International Wine Competition judging boasted nearly 2,500 entries from approximately 20 different countries, including Chile, Croatia, France, New Zealand and Portugal. The competition also received 181 entries from the 2016 featured region, The Pacific Northwest, which includes wine-making regions of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and British Columbia.  Texas wineries alone represented 267 entries.

MANAGER MARC RUCKER PARTNERS WITH PARALLEL ENTERTAINMENT NASHVILLE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Parallel Entertainment-Nashville has expanded their management team to support new beginnings and growth within the company with the addition of manager, Marc Rucker, and signing new artist, Ryan Beaver to Parallel's artist roster.  

 

“The combination of Parallel’s all encompassing knowledge of the entertainment industry coupled with my experience will provide a strong foundation for the new Nashville home of Parallel Entertainment," says Rucker. "Our focus in Nashville will be specifically on musical artists and growing the careers of those who are both new and established. Rucker comes to Parallel Entertainment from Crush Music where he worked with industry staple John Grady, managing country songstress Ashley Monroe, Nashville duo Striking Matches and independent artist Ryan Beaver.
