A Texas native and Texas A&M University alumna, with a BS in Agricultural Communications and Journalism and several years of experience in the Texas music scene, Heather Blankenship proudly brought her Texas tenacity to Tennessee.

Upon moving to Nashville, Blankenship began the course of her career at Lyric Street Records where she contributed to the launch of rising Country stars Love and Theft, helping them achieve the highest charting debut single of 2009. She went on to gain valuable experience at Sony Music Nashville, Curb Records and Great American Country before joining local pr firms where she handled publicity for numerous clients such as the Country Throwdown Tour, Bonnaroo, Barbara Mandrell, Bigger Picture artists Chris Cagle and Christian Kane, and with legends such as Hank Williams Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd and STAIND's Aaron Lewis.

Taking with her significant experience, Blankenship has proudly launched her PR firm, Lone Star PR, paying homage to her Texas traditions while making her mark in Music City. Her tenacity has put clients in some impressive outlets including late night talk shows as well as People Country, The Associated Press, Rolling Stone, CMT and Fox News. While she built her career with a foundation in music, her talents extend to festivals, rodeos, charitable foundations, and more. Blankenship brings to her work a range of experience in publicity, marketing, radio promotions and sales, event planning, artist booking and journalism. She is also a proud member of The Country Music Association (CMA), Young Entertainment Professionals (YEP), Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and Society Of Leaders In Development (SOLID).
